Rocky Shoals Spider Lilies
One of the largest stands of the Rocky Shoals Spider Lilie (Hymenocallis coronaria), is found right here in our own back yard. 
If you have not experienced them you owe it to yourself to make a trip to Landsford Canal State Park in Catawba,SC. The Rocky Shoals Lily is found in Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and parts of North Carolina. From the park entrance there is a shady 1.5 mile round trip trail to the lookout where these photos were taken. You can bring your dog, have a cookout, launch your canoe or kayak or just enjoy the trails at the park.
